This design exploration started as something to answer a question about improving upon open source app design. NewPipe looked like it had great potential, so why not try making a design exploration out of it?
For the uninitiated: NewPipe is an open-source YouTube and other streaming platform client for Android. There are a lot of great open-source apps, but most of them needs more polish. Here’s my attempt to improve one of many such apps.
